Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Dept. and private company cooperate holding fire prevention agility contest on Jl. Latumenten Raya, Tambora, West Jakarta, Sunday (9/3). This contest was participated by hundreds of residents as representative from each urban villages in Tambora and Cengkareng Sub-districts.

Anto (43), one of Tambora Urban Village RW 01 residents said, this event was not only to compete, but also to train extinguish fire.
"Though we are not win, at least we can be more skilled in handling fire. In residential environment, we can move quickly without fear," he said, Sunday (9/3).
Meanwhile, Jakarta Gulkarmat Dept.'s Prevention Division's Publication and Community Empowerment Section Head, Saepulloh admitted, this event was held to appreciate residents' participation and care in preventing any fire incident.
"This event is held to enhance their skill in fire alert," he said.
"The active role of residents is very important to prevent and handle fire incident much earlier," he closed.
